Our client is looking for experienced and knowledgeable Risk Managers to join their teams across the UK. They are currently looking for Risk Managers based in the East, Southeast, or in Scotland. If you’re looking for a new challenge, read on for more information.
In this role, you will be completing underwriting risk assessments for commercial, domestic, and bespoke customers as part of the Loss Control Team. You will provide detailed risk improvement reports and technical insight to the Underwriting Team to help inform insurance decisions.

Daily duties to include:
- Providing reports and insight to manage risk for the customer and reduce losses for both the customer and the business
- Using specialist systems to score risk assessments within expected timeframes
- Undertaking thorough and regular site reviews to effectively manage stakeholders
- Completing surveys, written reports, and other tasks in line with SLAs and KPIs
- Researching, producing, and publishing technical guidance and data
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with colleagues including Underwriting, Claims, Agents, and other Risk Managers
About you:
Due to the nature of this role, previous risk management experience is required along with detailed knowledge of up-to-date practices and regulations. The successful candidate must be able to interpret underwriting requirements to ensure risk management decisions can be identified. Experience of surveying and consulting in commercial environments is also required.
Experience or knowledge gained from working in Underwriting, Claims, Surveying, or Commercial Engineering would be beneficial for this role.
