Operations Risk Administrator

Join our multi-award-winning client as they recruit for an Operations Risk Administrator during an exciting period of growth!

This role would suit someone who has foundation knowledge of risk management practices, and good operational knowledge including the basics of CASS.

You will be acting as a key point between first line and second line, ensuring risk events and breaches are recorded, escalated, and managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing operational risks and implementing controls and improvements where necessary
  • Supporting on risk escalations and risk management queries
  • Preparing and delivering risk reports/opinions to management and board
  • Liaising with second line risk function and the Operational teams to assist in the management of their risk activities
  • Performing quality checks on incidents raised, evaluating correcting and preventative actions to ensure they are fit for purpose
  • Performing trend analysis on breaches and near misses, providing guidance and suggesting process improvements
  • Working closely with CASS function in breach reviews and escalations

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience within a similar role is ideal
  • Experience in financial services is essential
  • A relevant industry recognised qualification is desirable
  • Good operational knowledge and a basic understanding of risk management practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
