The team at Pear Tree Recruitment have supported Jessie May for over 7 years with various fundraising initiatives. We are now proud to be recruiting a Head of Fundraising and Communications to lead their amazing team here in Bristol – to capitalise on the synergy between telling stories and income generation.
Jessie May provides a hospice at home service across the South West to children with life-limiting conditions. The team are now looking to support further families through the expansion of their service provision, and to continue making an unbelievable difference. To achieve this, they have set an ambitious fundraising target that will see their annual income increase from £1.6m in 2023 to £2.4m in 2027.
The primary focus of the Head of Fundraising and Communications will be to review and shape Jessie May’s income generation plan and inspire and lead a committed team to achieve this. The successful applicant will be an exceptional manager with demonstrable experience of leading successful fundraising campaigns across multiple income streams.
This is an integral post that needs a creative and innovative thinker – someone who will oversee income streams across corporate, community, events, grants and trusts, and statutory, as well as developing new fundraising opportunities and communications campaigns.
