  • Bristol – 3 days work from home once training is complete
  • Monday – Friday 9am-5pm (no weekends!)

Our client is a market leading provider of legal expenses insurance that has enjoyed rapid growth in recent years.  They are currently looking for several Claims Handlers to join their vibrant claims team in their Bristol office. As a Claims Handler, you will manage a diverse range of claims, from commercial and personal contract disputes through to employment, medical negligence or motor claims.

Daily duties and responsibilities of the Claims Handler to include:

  • Dealing with legal expenses claims on behalf of multiple insurers and brokers
  • Overseeing the customer experience throughout the claim life cycle
  • Investigating claims evidence and making informed decisions on outcomes
  • Providing clear, concise, and accurate information to internal and external personnel
  • Assisting with managing appointments of litigators and solicitors as needed
  • Adhering to all company and regulatory policies and procedures
  • Answering a high volume of calls and making calls to assist with ongoing case management

Due to the nature of this Claims Handler role, experience of delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment is required. Insurance, financial services, retail or hospitality – it really doesn’t matter! You just need to love working with customers and have a calm and patient yet resilient manner, which is required when dealing with challenging and emotional claims.
